Education, in its essence, is not merely a process of knowledge transfer, but a conscious and deliberate effort to humanize human beings in a holistic manner. Education plays a crucial role in shaping individual consciousness, values, and moral responsibility in both personal and social life. This article aims to examine education as a process of humanization from the perspective of educational philosophy. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, analyzing various classical and contemporary philosophical perspectives relevant to the concept of humanization. The findings indicate that education oriented toward humanization positions human beings as subjects of education who possess self-awareness, freedom of thought, and moral as well as social responsibility. Education functions not only to develop cognitive aspects, but also to shape the ethical, social, and existential dimensions of human beings. Therefore, humanistic education constitutes an essential foundation for building a just, dignified, and sustainable civilization.
